Lars Sullivan is back in the mix of WWE, and it did not take long for him to be hit with another potentially major controversy. It is getting hard to keep track of everything he has done, from homophobic and racist remarks on bodybuilding forums, and his hidden past of gay porn. The latest involves him being inappropriate with a yoga instructor, Annika Naidoo-Fuge on Instagram.
Lars Sullivan Crossed A Line With Annika
Earlier today, a reddit thread would pop up showing troubling screenshots for The Freak himself. He was working with an Instagram account dedicated to Yoga services, and even would gush on the platform about how good he felt 6 weeks into an online program with Annika. However, behind the scenes, he’d be asking her for booty pics, and being all around inappropriate.
Annika had the patience of a saint, as this went on for months before she finally hit the block button and shared these screenshots. Bodyslam.net would end up reaching out to Annika and confirm these screenshots were legitimate. This would provide us with more screenshots of him just thristing over a married woman who he had established a professional relationship with.
Likely Will Not Impact His WWE Run
WWE clearly sees something in Lars that has them all around protecting him. They kept him around after his last round of controversy, and will likely do little more than a slap on the wrist this time around. I can’t imagine his female co-workers will be too comfortable around him after this, if they were comfortable in the first place.
This happening so close to the #SpeakingOut movement, and with Lars previous track record should be enough for most to refuse to support the guy, and yet he’ll remain a strong presence on WWE TV, especially after a major return. We don’t even have paying crowds to display their displeasure in person, letting WWE completely ignore the whole situation until it gets lost in the news cycle.
I would wager this will not be the last time we see Lars Sullivan brought up in this light, as he has a growing track record. Much like how it’ll be hard to stop the monster in the WWE ring, it’ll be hard for them to keep him from getting into more and more trouble behind the scenes.
Should WWE keep Lars Sullivan around as he continues to bring them bad press? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
