The Veribest Lady Falcons remained unblemished on the season after rolling past Colorado City 25-15, 25-20, 25-14 on the road in District 7-2A action on Saturday.
Veribest improved to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in district.
In the junior varsity match, Veribest shook off Colorado City 25-23, 25-17.
Bronte 3, Olfen 0
Katelyn Powell had 14 kills and Saige Busby finished with 22 assists, leading the Bronte Lady Longhorns to a 25-7, 25-7, 25-11 District 7-2A win against Olfen on Saturday.
Autumn Ortiz had 12 digs and Thaliah Castaneda served up 5 aces for Bronte.
Bronte is scheduled to travel to Miles on Tuesday.
Water Valley 3, Loraine 0
The Water Valley Lady Wildcats rolled to a 25-5, 25-11, 25-15 sweep against Loraine in District 7-2A play Saturday.
Water Valley improved to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in district.
The Lady Wildcats were coming off a 25-20, 17-25, 29-27, 25-7 win against Miles in another district match on Friday.
Miles dropped to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in district.
Water Valley will continue district play Tuesday when the Lady Wildcats host Colorado City.
Sterling City 3, McCamey 0
In District 2-2A action, Sterling City swept McCamey 25-17, 25-12, 25-15 at home on Saturday.
The Lady Eagles will host TLCA (Midland) on Tuesday.
Coleman 3, Lingleville 1
The Coleman Lady Bluecats hung on for a 25-16, 25-21, 20-25, 26-24 District 8-2A victory against Lingleville on Saturday.
Coleman improved to 3-0 in district.
Abbi Allen filled up the stats sheet for Coleman with 11 kills, 21 digs, 6 aces, 6 solo blocks and 1 block assist. Madi Martinez (20), Adley Johnson (15) and Brylei Gilbreath (12) also finished with double-digit digs for the Lady Bluecats.
The Lady Bluecats’ district match that was scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled.
