Sturgis High School seniors win Winterfest powderpuff volleyball game

The Sturgis High School senior team dominated the “powderpuff” volleyball court Friday, during the final day of “Winterfest” activities.

The seniors won three games to one game against the underclassmen team.

The powderpuff game entertained a limited number of guests who had gathered for the annual crowning of “Winterfest” queen and king.

“Powderpuff” is the term given to a game played by the opposite gender traditionally assigned to that sport.
