Mamun presided the first executive committee meeting Tuesday at Dhaka Range office of Bangladesh Police in Dhaka after his appointment
Chowdhury Abdullah al-Mamun, Director General of Rapid Action Battalion, has been named the new president of the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation replacing former IGP of Police, Javed Patwary.
Mamun presided the first executive committee meeting Tuesday at Dhaka Range office of Bangladesh Police in the capital after his appointment was made by National Sports Council the previous day, stated a press release from the federation.
The new BKF president said, “Kabaddi is our national sport. We want kabaddi rise again in every district. We, the federation, will try our best and take necessary steps for that purpose.”
