Yoga has been known for being a great way to work out and stay fit and many people like taking yoga, but many yoga studios have become limited to allow a certain number of people into studios or have been closed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the pandemic became global, people have struggled to find ways to do yoga while being quarantined at home.
I like doing yoga as part of my work out and I have managed to find ways to do yoga at home without having to go out.
According to the New York Times website, yoga can be practiced by anyone at home and it doesn’t mean that a person has to be an expert at it. It also mentioned some basic yoga moves people can do at homes such as child’s pose, downward-facing dog, plank pose, and cobra pose.
These yoga moves are perfect for beginners to learn before they move on to do advanced versions of yoga at home.
Another problem with taking yoga classes is that people are having trouble finding places or resources to take classes because of the pandemic closing down studios or the fear of going outside.
According to The Cut website, some of the best online resources for free yoga classes are Do Yoga With Me, Corepower Yoga, Yoga with Adriene, Fightmaster Yoga, Yome, and Daily Burn.
These resources are free to use off of other websites and YouTube and are great to use to practice yoga at home. Yoga does not even need too much equipment. The only need for yoga is a mat, yoga blocks, and a quiet place to do it.
I mostly have done my yoga workouts off of YouTube because it is very easy for me to find the workout I want to do, and I can use it to practice yoga anytime I want.
Aside from practicing this workout at home, yoga has many benefits to help the human body.
According to the Johns Hopkins Medicine website, the benefits of yoga are the improvement of strength, balance, and flexibility, releasement of back pain, easing of arthritis symptoms, management of stress, and many more.
Yoga is perfect for people who have back pain, arthritis problems, or stress on their minds because it will help relieve any pain they feel throughout the whole body.
When I do yoga, I feel like it is helping build more strength and flexibility in my body, especially in my back, and is helping relieve stress from my mind because I felt my mind calming down and my body getting stronger.
Even though people cannot go outside all the time, yoga can be practiced anytime during the day at home to help people stay calm and fit while in quarantine.
