Board now discussing football
The Minnesota State High School League Board of Directors voted to bring volleyball back to the 2020 fall, reversing the early August decision to flex the sport along with football to spring 2021.
The board debated the topic for more than a half hour during Monday’s special board meeting.
The season begins Sept. 28 with 10 days of preseason practice, and the first games beginning Oct. 8. The season will run 11 weeks and allow 14 dual competitions.
The board is now discussing moving football back into fall.
