Boxing Studio Teams Up with Nonprofit to Fight for Proactive Ovarian and Breast Cancer Prevention

Jabz, a full-body circuit style workout that utilizes boxing-inspired exercises, is partnering with Bright Pink, a nonprofit dedicated to the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women.

From Oct. 25–31, Valley Jabz studios will host a series of donation-based classes to benefit Bright Pink’s mission, which is to save lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering women to know their risk and manage their health proactively.

Throughout the week, the designated Bright Pink workouts will be open to the public with a recommended minimum donation of $5 per class. All attendees are encouraged to wear pink to the special classes and will be provided with access to digital tools from Bright Pink to help them understand their individual risks and personalize their prevention plans.

“We’re honored to partner with Bright Pink and believe wholeheartedly in their movement to inspire and empower women to know their risks and take proactive steps to prevent breast and ovarian cancer,” said Danielle Scott, Jabz brand president. ”In addition to raising awareness and driving donations to support and advance Bright Pink’s mission, we hope to equip our teams, members and attendees with tangible knowledge and digital assets that will help inform them of their own risk so that they can be proactive and advocate for their own health.”
