2020 News-Herald volleyball all-stars

Kathryn Randorf

Gilmour, junior

Randorf is a repeat winner of N-H player of the year honors, and the junior responded in her team’s biggest moment this season. In the Division II state final against NDCL, Randorf delivered the last four kills of the match in the decisive fifth set, and that was key to the state championship victory. The outside hitter packed the stat sheet all season with 304 kills, 96 blocks, 176 digs and 37 aces.

Dan Coughlin, Gilmour

The Lancers entered the 2020 season with unfinished business after losing a state semifinal match in 2019. Coughlin and his team didn’t hide from expectations this season of a state title, and the program delivered with a 23-1 record against a loaded schedule and won the Division II state crown with a five-set victory over rival Notre Dame Cathedral Latin in the state final.
